GTA 4 Graphics Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Basically i bought GTA 4 this morning and followed all of the instructions, installed it, installed Rockstar social club, patched it etc… and then when i got on the gameit seemed to lag crazily, i know your thinking my computer is rubbish. but its not….. here are the specs….Processor:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.80GHz (2 CPUs)
2048MB RAM
250 GB
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT
iiyama 24″ HD 1080p 1920 x 1200
Digital Theater Systems’ DTS ES 6.1 CREATIVE surround sound
Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)
So if you could plz help in anyway, that would be great. Email me for more detail on the lag issues
in addition i did download service pack 3 and there is still a lot of lag. But I really dont see how intel pentium 4 3.9 cant run GTA 4, because as i wrote, the PC has 2 cores, which are both 1.8 so its very similar to the intel core duo.
ur problem is ur intel p4 it needs a Intel Core 2 Duo running at 1.8 Ghz
and for xp it needs service pack 3
try lowing ur specs to the lowest it might help but u really need service pack 3
