What DSLR Camera should i get (nikon d3100/ Nikon d80)?

Which one should i get? If i get the nikon d3100 ill get it in the kit with the 18-55mm new, but if i get the D80 ill get a 50mm lens with it but the body would be used. Only downside to the d80 is the fact that its a ccd (please explain the difference compared to cmos) and its only 10mp and the d3100 is 14 mp.

If you still think megapixels mean anything you should get the d3100. IT has more and some software on it that holds the hand of newbies.

After the D80 came the D90, massively improved sensor. Then the next generation came along of which the D3100 is the budget model. So you got a much, much better sensor but you’re also missing all of the enthousiastic amateur features the D80/D90/D7000 have.
